About Leo
Leo is a gorgeous Staffy cross with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This lovable boy is happiest when he's with his people and, despite his size, is convinced he's the perfect lap dog!
Leo loves getting out and about for his daily walks and is a pleasure to have by your side. He's eager to please, responds well to commands and is a very quick learner. Being highly food motivated certainly helps, making him a great candidate for continued training and learning new tricks.
Leo can be a little unsure around some men, particularly those wearing hoodies or hats, so he'll need patient introductions and someone willing to let him build trust at his own pace.
After a day of adventures, Leo's favourite place is right next to you (or preferably on you!) soaking up all the cuddles he can get. He's a loyal boy who simply wants to be part of the family.
Leo would thrive in a home that understands confidence takes time to build and is happy to continue showing him that the world isn't such a scary place. In return, you'll gain a devoted companion who will reward your patience with endless love and loyalty.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
