Hi everyone! My name is Bobi. I am nearly 2.5 years old, just adore my humans and I'm excited to learn more about the big world out there.
I love walks in my harness and I am friendly with other dogs, although I can be a bit shy at first. I like dogs about my size. I have been to a dog sitter and was unsure, but then I opened up and we had a great time. If someone visits, I will always let you know.
I do like a groom when my fur grows so that I can look as handsome as can be. I am sure people will always stop you when we are out walking to tell you how cute I am.
In my other home I was not around other dogs, but I do think I would like a dog friend as I do love to play games. I have not been around cats before. And because I didn't do much before I am really scared around strangers, but I will settle and be happy once I know you.
Squeaky toys are my absolute favourite. I will even bring one back to you. When I can I like to carry one around all day. I LOVE zoomie games and perhaps a doggy friend will help me use up my energy.
As I am still young, I like being around my humans. I am not keen on being left alone for too long as sometimes I can get into a little bit of mischief. The car is the best and I love trips with the window down with the wind blowing through my fur as I enjoy the smells. My foster carer makes sure I am always buckled in with a harness.
Backyards are fun, small or big and I have been known to dig a little, so my new humans would need to note this so that I don't tunnel out.. I will also chew my toys to pieces - but what else are toys for!
My most comfortable spot at bedtime is in your bedroom of course - if you are happy for me to be there. During the day its either the couch or my dog bed.
When I find my new home, it would be fun if we could have some training so I can be the best boy for you. I will always try to make you happy and honestly - just look at me, who could resist!

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped,
wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals,
surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm
testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If
a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
Medical notes

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
