Cati is a beautiful senior lady with the gentlest soul and so much love to give. An absolute sweetheart, she simply needs a little time to feel safe before her true personality shines. Meeting new people and adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings can be overwhelming for Cati, so she'll appreciate a patient adopter who can give her the space and understanding she needs to settle into her forever home.
Once you've earned her trust, Cati is all about the gentle affection. A few soft pats are enough to make her melt like butter, happily soaking up every head and ear scratch on offer. While she's not a lap cat, she loves nothing more than sitting quietly beside her favourite person, enjoying your company and sharing peaceful moments together.
Cati is searching for a calm, quiet home where she can truly relax. Loud noises and busy households are simply too much for this sensitive senior, so she would do best in a home without children or canines. She must be the only feline in the household, as she has no tolerance for sharing her space with other cats.
As the outdoors are far too big and scary for her, Cati is looking for an indoor-only home where she can feel safe, secure, and cherished.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
