About Princess
Lovely Princess requires a home with loads of love and affection, to match what this special girl already has in spades to give back.
Her people need to be home frequently, be happy to take her for daily walks and to spend some time engaging in play with her in the home.
Her energy levels are moderate rather than high, so after her daily exercise she is happy to snuggle up for hours at a time. She has spent a little time each week around smaller children and managed those interactions well. Princess has also been exposed on a weekly basis to lots of different people visiting her foster family’s home and copes super well with this too.
She greets and loves on everyone who comes through the door, without any exceptions so far! She does love to have some doggy company, so whether that comes in the form of a friendly, playful doggy member of the household, or regular playdates with friends, some form of canine companionship is strongly recommended.
Princess can be excitable around cats and should only have calm, very confident cats in her adoptive home. She does respond immediately to any corrections regarding chasing a cat and she isn’t dangerous, but it would take time to get her to the place where no more training was required with this.
Therefore, we just recommend a home without a cat or a calm, confident cat who won't run, and owners that can supervise them and continue training. She sleeps in a crate every night and will be content and quiet until morning.
Princess requires the following in the home:
- A securely fenced yard
- People home often.
- Daily walks.
- Another desexed dog in the home or lots of playdates and visits with friends and family dogs.
- No cats or a calm cat that won't run form Princess.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis. We assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animals needs.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home, please send us a detailed email with some information about the people and any other animals in your home, as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteers who run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home must attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a fully refundable 2 week trial period. If you ever find yourself unable to care for, or keep your pet, please contact us and they will come back into our care, or we will do our best to assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
