Pongo

Pongo is a sweet, quiet little dog with a lovely gentle nature. This adorable Jack Russell cross definitely has some Cattle Dog in the mix, but at under 10kg he's the perfect compact companion.

Pongo is currently living happily in foster care alongside chickens and has formed a beautiful bond with his foster dog friend. He gets along well with most other dogs, although young children can be a little overwhelming for him, so he would be best suited to a home with older kids.

He's making great progress with his toilet training, is learning to walk nicely on a lead, and already has surprisingly good recall. Pongo isn't a runner, but he may try to find his way to his people if left alone for long periods, so he's looking for a family where he can be included in everyday life.

Very food-motivated and eager to please, Pongo enjoys learning and will continue to thrive with gentle, positive training. He loves nothing more than being close to his people and is looking for an inside home where he can enjoy plenty of cuddles, companionship and the security of being part of the family.
