Meet Saphie š§”
Saphie is a beautiful little ginger girl with the sweetest freckles on her nose. Female ginger cats are quite uncommon, making her extra special!
When Saphie first arrived, she was very scared and spent her time hiding under the bed. The key with her is simply giving her space and letting her come to you in her own time. Once she realised she was safe, her true personality blossomed.
Now she follows me from room to room, happily curls up on my lap, asks for pats, and does the cutest little "bum in the air" stretch when she's enjoying attention. She'll often come over to sniff your hand first for reassurance before settling in for cuddles. She's still a little anxious at times, but she's made incredible progress and just needs someone patient who understands that trust takes time.
Saphie loves exploring. She enjoys supervised time in the backyard, where she'll have a little wander before coming back inside. She is curious and can be quite the climber, so she'll need a secure indoor home and close supervision if she's outside.
She's a big foodie, but she gets so excited that she'll sometimes eat too quickly and bring her food back up. Feeding her smaller portions or using a lick mat or slow feeder works really well.
Saphie has also shown that she enjoys the company of other friendly cats, so she may do well in a home with a calm feline companion.
If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion and are willing to give her the time she needs to settle in, Saphie will reward you with endless love, lap cuddles, and loyal companionship. She truly is the sweetest little soul. š§”š¾

Medical notes
Saphie had a UTI that resulted her peeing outside the litter box. This has now been resolved. Her litter box habits are back to being perfect.

All adoptions incld 1 Free Vet Appointment at Mont Albert Vet or Canterbury Vet (Valued at $155) and or 50% off Dental Procedure *only if needed*

We have a mandatory house inspection
Shortlisted adopters will be contacted to arrange a meet & greet with the animal. **Depending on our foster's availability
We do follow-ups throughout the life of the animal
In the event that you are unable to care for the animal anymore, you must contact us to seek verbal advice
Some animals will require mandatory enrollment to professional training/behaviorist - this will be noted on the animal's profile & adoption agreement, we will require proof of enrollment before we are able to complete the adoption process/transfer of ownership
