Meet Sasha 🐾

Sasha is a beautiful Staffy mix with a truly beautiful soul. She is incredibly people-oriented and loves nothing more than being close to her humans. She is a professional cuddler, and her greetings consist of full-body wiggles, an enthusiastic tail, and enough excitement to make you feel like you've been missed for years!

Sasha knows her basic commands and is a clever girl who enjoys learning, especially when food is involved. Lick mats, snuffle mats, treat balls and food puzzles are some of her favourite things.

She is a medium-energy girl who enjoys her walks, some good zoomies and spending time with her people. She does tend to get excited and jump up, but this is something she is working on and improving with training.

Sasha is a little more of an anxious girl and can take some time to feel comfortable in new situations. After being attacked by another dog in the past, she has developed some reactivity towards other dogs when out on leash. She can also be a little more reluctant with men initially, but with patience, treats and positive interactions, she warms up beautifully.

Sasha has completed a board-and-train program and will benefit from an adopter who is willing to continue her training, help build her confidence and give her the patience and consistency she needs to keep progressing.

We have not tested Sasha with young children, so this is something her future home would need to take into consideration.

Sasha isn't looking for a perfect home — she's looking for someone who will see the beautiful dog underneath her nerves and give her the time and support to flourish. In return, she'll give you an incredible amount of love, cuddles, loyalty and, of course, those legendary full-body wiggles. ❤️
