Pepper

Beautiful Pepper 9mths old , 24kg Staghound Cross is in search of her forever home.

After previously being abandoned by her owner due to no fault of her own, it took her only a few weeks to come out of her shell and show her inquisitive and cuddly nature with her foster family!

She would suit a home who would love an affectionate pup, and someone who is willing to be patient as she explores new experiences.

She has been working with a wonderful dog trainer , Buddy from LateralK9 to overcome her shyness and with continuing guidance she will keep progressing into a confident young lady.
Having another playful dog in the house would be fantastic as she finds her confidence easily when around other dogs.

A typical day with her foster family is morning cuddles followed by a sniff walk or visit to a public place for some socializing and exposure.
She then has her breakfast and spends the middle of the day napping as she is still pretty young so lots of sleeping!
In the evening its time for either training sessions or some sniffing enrichment (she loves using that hound nose for games!) and then some dinner.

Usually a bit of play with her foster brothers (a Rottweiler and a Cane Corso cross) before snuggling in for a full nights sleeps through the night with no accidents, on her own bed or at the bottom of our bed.

Pepper is
-Great in the car
-Sleeps either at the foot of our bed or in her bed on the floor in a bed
-Good on leash and listens well
-Energy is medium/low
-Eating mixed diet of premium kibbles , freezed dried kibbles and fresh cooked food like Lyka or similar home cooked meals , Prime100 rolls or slow cooked.

-she can be shy in the beginning with new people
And a bit unsure with loud motorbikes but this will improve overtime as she continues to gain confidence with the big world

The ideal family for Pepper will be a family with time, to continue to guide and lead Pepper positively.

Adopting from Tails of The Forgotten Paws AU incld all supplies for Pepper for the first 4 to 6 weeks . This incld food, treats, bed, toys, raised bowls, collar leash etc. Everything Pepper has been given while in our care will be included.
A handover notes on her training so far will be provided too.

You will also receive 1 free wellness consult with one of our partner vet .

A lifetime support , 24 7 via our support group on WhatsApp is available for you & your adopted dog
