Meet Fergie, a beautiful young girl with striking pale eyes, a soft fawn coat and a wonderfully expressive face.
Born on 13 April 2026, Fergie is still only a baby, but she is already showing herself to be a confident, cheeky and affectionate pup with a lot of love to give.
Fergie is best described as an American Bull Staffy, perhaps with a dash of Mastiff. She is expected to grow into a fairly large, strong girl. She will need a home that understands the importance of early training, socialisation, boundaries and kind, consistent guidance from the beginning.
Like all puppies, Fergie is still learning about the world. She will need help with all the usual puppy things — toilet training, lead training, manners, appropriate play, settling, and learning how to be a well-behaved member of the family. With the right home, she has the potential to grow into a loyal, affectionate and wonderful companion.
Fergie’s ideal home will have secure fencing, plenty of time for her, and a commitment to raising her properly. She is not a puppy to be left to bring herself up in the backyard. She needs to be included in family life, given indoor privileges, and loved as a true member of the household.
Because Fergie is expected to become a fairly large, powerful dog, applicants with prior bull-breed or large-breed experience will be highly regarded. She will suit people who can enjoy her cheeky puppy energy while also giving her the structure and guidance she needs to mature into her best self.
Fergie is available under ARK’s Deferred Desexing Program, which means her adoption fee covers the cost of desexing, subject to the terms and conditions of the adoption contract. Her desexing must be completed when age appropriate.
If you are looking for a bright, affectionate and playful young pup to raise with love, patience and commitment, Fergie may be the girl for you.

Medical notes
Fergie has a small hernia. It is asymptomatic, causes her no discomfort, and does not require urgent treatment. Small hernias are quite common in puppies and are usually present from birth. In most cases, they are minor and uncomplicated, and can be repaired at the same time as her routine desexing surgery, which is what our vet has recommended.
22 June 2026 - Fergie received her first C3 vaccination.
Fergie is available under ARK’s Deferred Desexing Program, which means her adoption fee covers the cost of desexing, subject to the terms and conditions of the adoption contract. Her desexing must be completed when age appropriate.
