About Nelson
*In foster care in Epping, Sydney*
Nelson is the fluffiest of floofs - impossibly soft and snuggly! He's a playful little boy who comes alive around company and is obsessed with his toys.
And while he's an extravert through and through, come nap time he turns into a proper cuddler, seeking out the nearest warm body (human or feline) to curl up beside! Raised among older siblings, he was the smallest of the litter but the bravest, which is how he earned the name Nelson :)
We think he'd enjoy life with a single person, couple or small family, ideally with another cat or two to bond with. He and his sister Florence (www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1201014) get along really well, so they'd make a wonderful pair for anyone able to take both!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Nelson is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be up for plenty of play, and have a warm lap waiting for me at the end of it! I thrive on company, so I'd love a home where someone's around to chase toys with me and let me doze off against you afterwards.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm full of beans - until I'm not. I can be bouncing around one minute and curled up in your lap the next :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Great! But I'm still learning my manners and can get a bit excitable, so a gentle, patient family would be my best match.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Yes please to other cats! I'm confident and sociable, and always keen to make a new friend (or two).
I'm not familiar with dogs, but if you've got a nice one, we can always give it a try?

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
