About Daisy
If you are looking for a best friend/side kick then Daisy may be the perfect dog for you!
She is 22kg of pure love! Her favourite activity is cuddling up on the couch with her human and playing with her foster siblings or her toys. She is estimated to be around one year old as she still has some puppy energy and a cheeky personality, and may have a little more growing to do!
We think Daisy would absolutely thrive in a house with another dog as we’ve found she is able to learn off of them and have a friend to play with when you’re out of the house.
Daisy has been great at meeting new dogs down at the oval and is more of the submissive type but will still initiate play. Her recall is coming along smoothly as she is so eager to please and doesn’t want to do anything wrong by you!
She knows sit, stay, wait (especially on walks before crossing the road and waiting for food), shake and “other hand”, as well as ‘leave it’. Daisy has been so easy to teach as she is very food motivated and eager to make you proud. She may still need some leash training as she loves to sniff everything, but she’s really good when given correction. Daisy has done well when meeting kids under supervision as she is a little boisterous and playful.
As Daisy learns new experiences she can be a little shy and timid at first but once you give her some encouragement and with her brave personality she breaks through her fears and absolutely thrives! She’s very sweet when meeting new people and made everyone at her vet fall in love with her!
Daisy is toilet trained and knows how to use a doggy door. She also travels beautifully in the car and will happily sit down for the ride with her head out the window or snuggled up on the back seat.
Daisy will sleep on her bed at night but loves a cuddle in the human bed in the morning.
If you have a fur baby needing a friend or you’re looking for a sweet addition to your family then Daisy could be the one for you! She is absolutely the sweetest angel with so much love to give. You will fall in love with her cheeky and playful personality and eagerness to learn, as well as her cuddly and affectionate side.
Daisy requires the following in her home:
- Another desexed playful male dog living in the home.
- Fully secure fenced yard, not small.
- To have the option of being inside when her family are home and to sleep at night.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis. We assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animals needs.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home, please send us a detailed email with some information about the people and any other animals in your home, as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteers who run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home must attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a fully refundable 2 week trial period. If you ever find yourself unable to care for, or keep your pet, please contact us and they will come back into our care, or we will do our best to assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
