About Daisy
Daisy’s favourite activity is cuddling up on the couch with her humans or playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She is still learning how to trust and can get a little nervous meeting new people but once she’s had a sniff and knows she’s safe she will lick you to death and sit on you!
Daisy loves playing with dogs, running around and play fighting. She’s a little submissive but still initiates play. She’s been great with other dogs at the oval but is still learning proper manners and sometimes barks at random dogs. She’s still learning how to play with toys but does occasionally pick some up and throw them around. She’s also learning what is a toy and what isn’t so best not to leave anything out you don’t want chewed!
Daisy travels beautifully in the car and just lays down to sleep or pops her head out the window. She is pretty good on lead walks, she may pull sometimes but not very hard and is a good listener. She loves to sniff and explore. Daisy knows how to sit, shake, leave it, and wait for her food, she is very eager to please and learns fast with treats.
Daisy is toilet trained and will use a doggy door to go outside to toilet.
Daisy’s favourite place is the couch. She never wants to get off and loves having daily naps. At night time she sleeps on her bed but does like a morning cuddle in the human bed.
Daisy is the sweetest angel you will meet and has won over everyone’s hearts including friends and the team at her vet clinic. She’s very eager to please and just wants to do right by everyone! She can be a little nervous when experiencing new things but once she feels safe she loves to explore and run around. I think she would be great with another dog as she learns off of them and follows their moves.
Daisy requires the following in her home:
- Another desexed playful dog living in the home.
- Fully secure fenced yard, not small.
- To have the option of being inside when her family are home and to sleep at night.
- Patient owners to help with her shyness.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis. We assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animals needs.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home, please send us a detailed email with some information about the people and any other animals in your home, as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteers who run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home must attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a fully refundable 2 week trial period. If you ever find yourself unable to care for, or keep your pet, please contact us and they will come back into our care, or we will do our best to assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
