About Eviee
Hi, I’m Eviee.
I’m a little Dachshund with a big heart… but I won’t pretend I’m the bravest girl in the world.
When I first meet new people or find myself in unfamiliar situations, I can be a little timid. I like to stop, watch and work things out before I decide everything is okay. If I’m unsure or feel pressured, I might tell you I’m uncomfortable in the only way I know how. Like many Dachshunds, I can be a little feisty when I’m worried, so I need someone who understands my body language, respects my space and is willing to help me build my confidence with kind, consistent training.
Because of this, I’m not suited to a first-time dog owner. I’ll do best with someone who has experience reading dog behaviour and understands that trust takes time. I don’t need perfection—I just need someone who’s patient, consistent and willing to help me grow.
The good news? Once you earn my trust, you’ll have a little best friend who wants to be with you all the time.
My favourite place in the world is in your arms. I absolutely adore being cuddled and held, and I’d happily spend my days snuggled up beside you or following you from room to room. I’m not looking for a house—I’m looking for my person.
I’m comfortable in my crate and have settled in beautifully around cats and other smaller dogs. I don’t need a busy lifestyle or lots of excitement. In fact, I’d much rather have a calm home where I can feel safe and settle into a routine.
I’m looking for someone who understands that confidence isn’t something you can rush. Someone willing to continue my training using patience, positive reinforcement and clear boundaries will help me become the very best version of myself.
My ideal home would be:
🐾 Calm and predictable.
🐾 With an experienced dog owner who understands small dogs and is happy to continue my training.
🐾 With someone who wants a constant cuddle buddy.
🐾 With a family who’ll let me settle in at my own pace and celebrate my little wins along the way.
I might not be the dog who runs straight into your arms on day one… but if you give me the time and understanding I need, I promise you’ll discover a loyal little companion who loves with her whole heart.
Love,
Eviee ❤️
