If you're looking for a cat who will keep you company, make you laugh and happily remind you that it's time for cuddles, then Cosmo could be your perfect match.
This handsome black and white boy has all the makings of a wonderful companion. Friendly, affectionate and full of personality, Cosmo settled into foster care with remarkable ease, quickly making himself at home and charming everyone he met.
It's clear that Cosmos has lived in a loving home before, as he genuinely enjoys being part of everyday family life.
Cosmo is wonderfully social without being clingy. He loves spending time with his people, whether that's curling up beside you on the couch, sleeping peacefully at the end of your bed or chatting away about the day's important events.
Cosmo is a very affectionate boy who adores chin scratches, head pats, back rubs and even tummy rubs, rewarding your attention with an impressive, rumbling purr.
Playtime is one of Cosmo's favourite parts of the day. He has a fun-loving, energetic streak and delights in racing around the house chasing toys, entertaining himself with games and occasionally pursuing his own magnificent fluffy tail.
Once he's burnt off some energy, he's equally content to settle nearby for a well-earned nap, often choosing a chair beside you or snoozing happily at your feet.
Like many confident cats, Cosmo enjoys watching the world from above. You'll often find him perched on the back of the couch, a windowsill or a favourite chair where he can supervise the household and chatter to the birds outside.
A sturdy scratching post or scratching pad is essential for this active boy, as he loves a good climb up.
Cosmo may also enjoy living with another friendly cat or even a calm dog, provided introductions are slow and thoughtful, as he was comfortable around both while waiting to come into care.
His ideal home is one where he'll be included as part of the family, with people who will enjoy his affectionate nature, playful spirit and delightful conversations. In return, Cosmo will reward you with endless entertainment, loyal companionship and plenty of love.

Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. We’ll be in touch!
2. If your application is successful, we’ll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carer’s home.
3. We ask that you pay the nominated fee to us via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit (preferred), or in cash. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
4. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty upon adoption. Your adoption fee includes a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership that is completed by us online two weeks after the adoption.
The rescue group is no longer taking adoption applications for this pet.
