About Sunny
Meet Sunny!
Sunny is a young Maremma x Golden Retriever with a goofy personality and a heart as warm as his name. True to his Maremma nature, he can be a little shy when meeting new people or exploring new places, but once he feels comfortable, his playful, affectionate personality shines through. Sunny will thrive in a dog savvy home with older children or adults, a large secure yard, and people who understand the needs of his unique breed mix. With patience, gentle guidance, and plenty of positive experiences, he'll continue building confidence and discovering all the wonderful things life has to offer. Sunny may also enjoy the company of a calm, confident adult dog, pending a successful meet and greet. This clever young boy will adore plenty of mental and physical enrichment to keep him happy and fulfilled. Sniffy walks, puzzle feeders, training games, interactive toys, and structured play are all right up his alley. He is eager to learn and will flourish with ongoing training that helps build both his confidence and skills.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
