About Elias
Meet Elias! A beautiful 4 year old German Shepherd x Husky
Elias is the ultimate family dog and would equally suit an active person looking for a loyal adventure buddy.
He is a fun loving, affectionate boy with a medium to high energy level who enjoys being involved in whatever his people are doing. Whether it's a bushwalk, a trip to the beach, a game of tug of war, or simply spending time with his family, Elias is happiest when he's included.
Despite his active nature, he also settles beautifully indoors and is more than happy to relax in his crate or snooze on his bed after a day of fun.
Elias is house trained, crate trained, walks well on lead, travels well in the car, and has excellent recall. Like many Huskies, he can be a little vocal when he's excited, but this is simply part of his charming personality.
Elias gets along well with other dogs and would happily live with a suitable canine companion or as an only dog receiving plenty of attention from his people.
He is good with female dogs, small dogs of either sex, and submissive large breed males.
While Elias is not a dominant dog himself, he can become anxious around dominant or entire male dogs, particularly those that engage in posturing behaviours such as standing over him or placing their head across his shoulders.
Due to this Elias is NOT suited to a home with any intact, dominant or pushy large breed males.
Elias absolutely adores people, including children. Due to his size and love of rough and tumble play, he would be best suited to a home with children aged 5+ who are confident around larger dogs.
He loves wrestling with his people, showing off his parkour skills, carrying around his latest stick treasure, and playing tug of war.
While Elias may have inherited some Husky traits, escaping is not one, he is very respectful of fencing.
Elias is not suitable for a home with cats, poultry, livestock, or other small animals due to his prey drive.
If you're looking for a loyal, fun loving companion who is equally happy joining your adventures or relaxing at home with the family, Elias could be the perfect match.

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
