Meet Trey Trey, a truly gorgeous boy with the sweetest, most sensitive soul. While he may be a little shy at first, with patience and understanding you'll be rewarded as his gentle personality begins to shine. Trey Trey does best when given time to build his confidence and thrive. His ideal home will have plenty of cosy hiding spots, cat trees and access to lots of safe places to perch both up high and down low. Do you know the one way to Trey Trey's heart? Treat paste! It's his absolute favourite and a wonderful way to help build trust and create positive experiences together. While Trey Trey has tested FIV positive (i.e., a common cat virus), it means he's looking for an indoor home where he can be the only cat, or a home with another FIV positive cat. Having a chat to your local vet about FIV will help you fully understand the virus. That said, Trey Trey is looking for a patient, compassionate family who understands that some cats need a little extra time before they show their true selves, and would be best suited to a home with teenagers who can read basic cat body language and respect when he needs a little space. **Special adoption**
I have been diagnosed with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and require a home where I am kept safely indoors at all times, so I can live a long happy life and not risk the safety of other cats.
My new adopter will; Have no other cats in the household OR only house with another cat that has an FIV positive status. Agree to always keep the cat indoors or in a secure enclosure, such as a Catmax. (Allowing an FIV + cat to roam will not only put their health and wellbeing at risk, but also other non infected cats that may come in contact with them)
