About Delta
Introducing Delta!
Delta is a Domestic Medium Hair born 23rd May 2021.
Delta, her kittens and several other cats have come into us from a local cat hoarding situation. When she arrived at the facility, her babies were quite young and were still feeding from her. Now they've been weaned, it's time our gorgeous mumma got to soak up all the love & attention she's been missing for so long.
Although Delta didn't have much human socialisation before coming to us, she is an incredibly affectionate girl. We believe that once she's settled into a loving home she'll be one of the smoochiest little lap cats ever.
Since being at the facility Delta's whole family have been absolutely beautiful! While she can still be ever so slightly shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take her long to show her true personality. She LOVES getting her cheeks scratched and will shove her head into your hand if you try to stop too early, she devours her Dine liquid treats and she isn't afraid to start climbing on your lap to get treats/scratches if you withold them for too long.
As Delta can still be a little shy, we are recommending a home with children over 10yrs, as we feel younger children may be a little overwhelming for her.
Although Delta has come from a home with numerous other cats/kittens, we have found her to not enjoy their company and we believe she would be best suited to a home where she can be the spoilt only "child" at home.
Delta will be rehomed to a family who will keep her as an inside cat only.
Delta is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.

Her adoption fee is $270 & this includes her desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. She is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Delta is currently located in East Maitland.

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
