About Magnum
Introducing Magnum!
Magnum is a Domestic Medium Hair born 23rd July 2025.
Magnum came in to us with 8 other cats & kittens from a local cat hoarding situation. Although Magnum hasn't had much human socialisation before coming to us, he's been working incredibly hard on his confidence & trust with us and we believe he's ready to find his new, loving family.
When Magnum first arrived at the facility he was very confused, scared & shut down. I would like to make a special mention that we haven't seen any signs of aggression from him, even when he was at his most scared. While he can still be shy when meeting new people, he's now allowing slow & gentle pets/cheek scratches. As he can still be quite shy we are recommending a home with no children, as we feel they would be too overwhelming for him.
As Magnum has come from a home with numerous other cats & kittens, we believe he would prefer a home with another cat to play with, however he could also be suitable being the spoilt only "child" at home.
Magnum will be rehomed to a family who will keep him as an inside cat only.
Magnum is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most quite households.
If you think you could be that furever family for Magnum, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
His adoption fee is $325 & this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Magnum is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
