Meet Chanterelle.

Chanterelle is part of our scared cat program; due to her shy nature and the fact she is struggling a little in the shelter environment.

She is a little wary of new people and quite shy, although she loves to knead her paws and make biscuits the whole time you're with her. She is a little conflicted with handling, but shows signs she craves these interactions too, she is just unsure how to go about it.

With consent-based handling and taking it slow and gently with her, Chanterelle will flourish in a quiet home where she can slowly come out of her shell at her own pace. We believe she will make the cuddliest cat with whoever she decides to bond deeply with.

Chanterelle is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment.
