Winnie was rescued from a back yard breeder. She was emaciated when she came into the rescue.

Non negotiable- she must have one to two little dog friends as she plays and finds comfort in dogs company

I am a JRT and I’m around 2.5 years old, but the vet isn’t really sure exactly how old I am.

I was so lucky to be rescued by OBG in April and my foster mum tells me I am like a new dog now. I’m on the smaller side, weighing in at just over 5kgs.

I’m toilet trained and I know some basic commands, including when to go to my bed.

I love walks and apparently, I walk really well on a loose lead.

My recall is also quite good, especially when treats are involved.

Despite only being a young pup, I’m missing about a third of my teeth. It doesn’t slow me down though.

Because I wasn’t treated very well previously, I sometimes get a bit scared, like when meeting a new dog or when my foster Dad yells at the TV during the footy. It’s best for me to have someone experienced with dogs who can reassure me and help me feel safe.

I love to cuddle, especially in the evening after I’ve had my dinner. I’ve been living with two male JRTs and we play and chase each other during the day and curl up on the couch together at night.

My foster mum reckons I would best be suited to a home with DINKWADs just like her and Dad (dual income, no kids, with a dog) or active younger retirees.

I need to go to a home with another dog as a companion and I need a kid free and cat free home.
