Bonnie Girl

A 7 year old Shar Pei cross, she's a little unsure about new people, but warms up quickly and is a super sweet, affectionate girl when she's comfortable with you. I’ve found the quickest way to make this happen is to let her approach at her own pace.
Once she likes you, she'll insist on all the head scratches you want to provide, as well as rubbing her head and sides of her body along your legs or any nearby furniture like a cat (apparently that's a "Shar Pei thing").
Good with bigger dogs (usually will just continue doing her own thing), but not great with smaller dogs or other animals.
She has not been tested with children in foster; however, with proper introductions and respectful approach she should be fine.
Bonnie bonds strongly with her people / person, and does not love being apart from them. A house where someone is home more often than not would be best, but she hasn’t had any problems in a fenced yard for moderate periods of time.
Finally, Bonnie is incredibly polite around food. She takes treats very gently, and is calm and patient around her food bowl / meal times. She doesn’t seem to have much in the way of formal training (sit, stay, recall, are not solid), but she is a smart girl so with structured and regular training she’s sure to pick these things up.
