Imogene

My name is Imogene, but my foster family calls me Gene. I came into foster care with my twin sister Isobel (Izzy). Our foster carers were surprised as they were expecting kittens and instead got two bear cubs. We tried our best to disguise ourselves, we played with kitten toys, wrestled with each other, purred loudly when receiving pats, cuddled with the humans or sat on their laps while watching the tv and even meowed when hungry. We even tricked the other foster kittens and resident cat! Our kitten disguise was pretty effective except for two things, our luscious thick fur, foster carers said it's like cuddling with a real-life teddy bear! Second our weight gains, apparently we gained three times the average for a kitten. This makes sense as we are not kittens but bears getting ready for winter hibernation. So why not be different and adopt a bear cub instead, we are cute, sweet, cuddly and affectionate and only a danger to toys and possibly spawning salmon.
