Hello my name is Birdie 🐈‍⬛🐦‍⬛

I'm a sweet but reserved 1-year-old girl looking for a loving, understanding forever home. I've had a rough start to life coming to GAWS as a stray, but after a long trek to socialisation I am finally ready to take the next step and find a loving home ❤️‍🩹 I can be quite shy around new places and faces, and will take some time to settle into your home, but once I do settle I will make a great quiet companion to your home.

I like to get some nice gentle pats - especially while I eat - and once I get used to you I might even follow you around looking for some nice affection. I do like to know who's home and what's going on, so I would suit a home where I have constant company. I also love playing with toys and using a scratch post/tower, so I would love lots of enrichment to help my silly side come out 🧶🐁

While I think the outdoor life can be tempting, I will need to live indoors only to ensure I am kept safe and healthy with my forever family - so please watch out for any open doors! I LOOOVE other cats, and would be VERY suited to a home with a friendly confident cat that can help show me the ropes and bring me out of my shell ✅😺 I think young kids are just way too much for me though, a=so a more mature/quiet home will suit me best.

I have sooo much potential, so please consider me when looking for a house-cat!
