About Dawn
Meet Dawn! A beautiful 5yr old tricolour abyssian. Dawn my be an older lady but she has energy for days! She LOVES cuddles and would lay in your arms all day if she could! It may take her a little while to warm up to you but treats definitely help her love you quicker! She is also a VERY vocal little lady, as soon as you walk in the room she'll wheek up a storm! Some of Dawns favourite foods are cos lettuce, red capsicum, rocket, spinach, parsley, choko, fennel and carrot. She however isn't a big fan of kale. Dawn does have cataracts in her eyes but she doesn't let it stops her from living her best life!

Adoption details
Qld Guinea Pig Refuge holds open days at the Albany Creek Scout Den in North Brisbane on the first and third Saturday of each month. All adoptions require pre-approval and your application form should be submitted for processing at least two days prior.
The adoption fee for our guinea pigs is $25 each. Desexed guinea pigs are $35 each. They come fully health checked; worm and mite treated; and have been living at their foster carer’s house where they receive handling time.

Qld Guinea Pig Refuge is a guinea pig shelter dedicated to helping mistreated, abused, and unwanted guinea pigs in Queensland. To ensure they live a happy and healthy life, our guinea pigs are rehabilitated under our no euthanasia policy and then adopted under our strict adoption policy.
