About Kip!๐พ
Kip ๐พ๐
Looking for a gentle best friend? Meet Kip.
Kip is a beautiful 2ยฝ-year-old Kelpie who's come an incredibly long way since arriving in our care. While he can still be a little shy with new people (especially men), once he knows you're safe, he transforms into the biggest cuddle bug you'll ever meet. โค๏ธ
His favourite things?
๐ฅฐ Long cuddles on the lounge
๐ถ Calm daily walks (he now walks beautifully on lead!)
๐งธ Soft plush toys
๐ Learning new things just to make his person happy
Kip is a thoughtful, gentle boy who isn't over-the-top or constantly demanding attention. He's happiest simply being close to his people, soaking up affection and enjoying life's simple pleasures.
He's incredibly eager to please, making him a lovely dog to continue training with. He also gets along well with Pippy and Poppy here at the pound and could happily live with a friendly desexed female dog, or equally enjoy being your one-and-only companion.
๐ก Kip's ideal home:
โ Someone happy to give him a little time to settle in
โ A secure yard with plenty of room to stretch his legs
โ Indoor access so he can enjoy the comforts of family life
โ An owner who enjoys gentle walks, cuddles and helping a deserving dog continue to build confidence
Having spent his life on a rural property, Kip isn't suited to busy inner-city living. A quieter suburban, semi-rural or rural home with a decent grassed yard would suit him perfectly while he continues his toilet training and adjusts to indoor life.
The best part? Kip isn't destructive, isn't a fence jumper, walks beautifully on lead, and has discovered that plush toys are actually pretty exciting!
Kip isn't the type of dog to launch himself into your lap five minutes after meeting youโbut give him a little patience and you'll discover one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you'll ever meet. The moment he melts into you for a cuddle, you'll understand why everyone who knows him has fallen in love. ๐
