PLAYFUL BOY!
⁃ Dapper young chap Buster is a real charmer! With emerald eyes, a sleek tuxedo, white tie and boots, plus his outgoing nature and playful manners, he’s ready for his new home.
⁃ At 6 months old, Buster is friendly, curious, confident and eager to meet and greet new people and other pets.
⁃ He is quite happy to remain safe in his carers’ home or the enclosed patio, loves to climb on the cat tree, dash through the cat tunnel, chase toys on his own or with human playmates, and spy on the great outdoors through a window. He enjoys following his carers around, especially when he thinks it might be mealtime.
⁃ Buster is fascinated by the other, older, cats in his carers’ home, but occasionally gets a bit too boisterous for them. If he outwears their welcome, they explain the meaning of boundaries and personal space to him. If Buster needs time out, a spell in a quiet room helps him rest and reset.
⁃ Buster enjoys cuddles and gentle play with his carers, and is equally content to power down and snooze in a cozy corner.
⁃ He’ll sleep on your bed if allowed, but is quite comfortable anywhere else.
⁃ Buster has good litter habits, is an unfussy eater, and very happy to be handled. He has yet to work out the secret to using a cat flap.
⁃ Buster would likely enjoy a home with activity and people or younger pets to play with. He has not been tested with children or dogs.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee of $330 includes desexing, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
