About Lexi
Lexi is the sweetest little girl with the gentlest nature. Quiet, affectionate and easy-going, she is happiest simply being close to her people. Whether she's curled up beside you on the couch or following you around the house, Lexi is content just being part of the family.
She absolutely adores children and is wonderful with people of all ages. She loves her meals, enjoys plenty of cuddles, and is simply no trouble at all. If you're looking for a calm, loving companion who asks for very little other than affection, Lexi could be your perfect match.
The ultimate little lap dog, Lexi is one of those dogs you'll fall in love with the moment you meet her.
About the breed
Lexi is a Shih Tzu, a breed renowned for being loving, loyal family companions. Shih Tzus do require regular grooming to keep their beautiful coats healthy, but otherwise are generally easy, adaptable dogs to care for.
Lexi can sit, stay and walk nicely on a lead. As she settles into her new home, she will need continued toilet training and a little patience while she learns her new routine.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
If you are interested in one of our cats or kittens, please click on the green "Enquire about ...", button, tell us a bit about yourself and the home you can offer the cat, and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
