About Snowball
Snowball has come back into our care after his adopters decided he was not the match for their resident cat. He was often wanting to play with their resident cat who was not that into Snowball or playing with him. We took him back into care and slowly he is becoming more confident and comfortable.
Snowball is sweet, gentle, a bit shy at the start, then chatty, purry and loves pats. He has spent 3 days to settle into his new routine, we sit on the couch and he comes out to shower us with love. He truly is a sweet kitten.
As we are not sure of his interactions with our other cats we are looking for a home that is happy to:
- take time, care and work at keeping his enrichment up as he settles into a new home (separated from resident cats),
-or has no other cat, he was fine with previous adopters' dogs,
- if you have a social, young kitten (5-12 months old) will follow a slow introduction process to let him feel comfortable before having new cat friends.
His previous carer Anna said the following about Snowball:
🐾 Sweet, affectionate kitten who adores cuddles
🐾 Loves laps and will happily settle in for a snuggle session
🐾 Chatty little companion with plenty to say throughout the day
🐾 Playful, energetic and always ready for a game
🐾 Food enthusiast with absolutely no patience when dinner is delayed (he is a bit chubby already)
🐾 Loves exploring new spaces and investigating every corner of his world
🐾 Good with children and enjoys feline company
While Snowball is affectionate by nature, he can take a little time to warm up to new people. He likes the chance to observe, assess, and decide whether you're trustworthy. Fortunately, his standards are not particularly high. Once you've been approved, prepare yourself. The rewards include endless leg rubs, enthusiastic cuddles, constant companionship, and a kitten who acts as though you've been best friends forever.
Snowball's story started in an old woodshed, where he was born to his mum, Smudge, while the little family was living rough. Thankfully, that chapter didn't last long. While still very young, Snowball and his family were rescued and brought into foster care, where he has spent the rest of his kittenhood safe, loved and surrounded by familiar faces. Growing up alongside his brother and mum has made Snowball wonderfully social with other cats, and he's had plenty of opportunities to master all the essential kitten skills: wrestling, chasing, pouncing and occasionally causing entirely harmless chaos.
Picture this: you're sitting on the couch after a long day. Snowball appears, chirping away about important kitten business, climbs onto your lap, kneads happily for a few moments, and curls up against you for a nap.
A little while later he'll wake up, remember that dinner exists, and immediately begin campaigning for snacks.
That is life with Snowball.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is flexible, we want our kittens to be in homes that meet their needs. We will ask you to either complete the application form (automatically sent) or ask to have a phone call chat.
We often make a call to potential adopters to chat through the application. We then organise a meet and greet if you and our kitten's needs match.
