Benny & Toko ~ pair of Shih Tzu x Maltese

Toko (18 months old) & Benny (2 years old) are the sweetest, little, Shih tzu x Maltese, bonded pair. Gentle, affectionate & very calm, they would happily be spending all day sleeping on your lap/next to you, or enjoying social outings to parks, cafes & the local pub.

The boys are very attached to each other & are always looking out for each other. They spend most of their time chasing balls, playing tug of war or curled up next to (or on top) of each other or us. They love being around people & need a family who are often around or happy to take them out with them. They LOVE their daily walks & are confident with other dogs. Both boys are well tested with dog savvy children, showing incredible patience & gentleness.

Benny and Toko have a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing, and professional clipping every 4 to 6 weeks to keep them comfortable and healthy.

o Desexed & vaxxed
o Sleep peacefully in a crate but would equally be happy in the bedroom.
o Toilet trained, doggy door mastering in progress though Benny can find it challenging & would do well with some modifications
o Well mannered
o On a fresh food diet & must continue
o Great with car rides
o Untested with cats
o Great with loose lead walking though Toko can get excited when seeing other dogs so will benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement training

TOKO (8kg)
For a dog so young, he is very calm & sweet. His favourite thing is cuddles, closely followed by meeting other dogs on walks, very closely followed by fresh chicken. He is goofy, playful & so very loveable.

BENNY (6.1kg)
Benny is a sweet old soul with so much love to give. He may have a congenital deformity of his foot, but that certainly doesn’t stop him from getting out and about. He loves his walks and playtime, especially chasing the ball and playing tug with his humans and his brother.

Benny and Toko are in foster care in Erskineville, NSW. They are not available for adoption interstate. Their adoption fee is $1000 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
