Timmy is a delightful purebred Silky Terrier who is ready to begin life as a much-loved family companion after retiring from his breeding career. Now that he's discovering what life as a pet is all about, his sweet personality is shining through more every day.

Affectionate, playful and eager to please, Timmy has quickly formed strong bonds with his foster family. He loves greeting his people with an excited happy dance before settling down for cuddles and quiet companionship. Whether he's curled up on your lap or snoozing nearby, Timmy simply enjoys being part of everyday family life.

Timmy is an energetic little dog who loves his daily walks and enjoys exploring the world around him. He's walking well on lead, loves visiting the park, and has a playful side, happily chasing balls and sticks (even if bringing them back isn't quite his thing yet!). He also has a funny way of inviting play, bouncing around with joyful enthusiasm much like another dog would.

Like many dogs adjusting to a new home, Timmy is still working on his toilet training. Marking has already reduced significantly as he's settled in and gained confidence, and with consistency and routine he continues to make great progress.

Although he can still be a little startled by sudden noises, Timmy's confidence is growing every day. He's handled new experiences well, including a visit to the vet where he calmly allowed the staff to care for him without fuss.

Timmy would suit a home that will continue helping him adjust to life as a cherished companion. He'll enjoy regular walks, plenty of affection, and people who appreciate having a little shadow following them from room to room. While he loves company, he has previously shown he can settle when left alone for reasonable periods once he's established a routine.
As a small dog who can occasionally weave around your feet, Timmy's new family should be mindful of this, particularly if mobility is a concern.
