Meet Raggy- The Ultimate Lapdog Looking for His Forever Home ❤️

Raggy is a 2-year-old male Pug x Pekingese with a soft, affectionate nature and a very big love for his people. Raggy is calm, easy-going, and very cuddly.

💛He is a gentle little companion who likes to be close. Raggy will happily curl up beside you, follow you around the house, and settle in wherever his person is. He is a genuine lap dog once he bonds with you, he wants to be part of your day, whether that means lying beside you while you work, sitting with you on the couch, or sleeping close by overnight.

🐶🐱He gets along well with both dogs and cats. He is not especially playful, so if there is another dog in the home, a calm and relaxed dog would be the best fit. Raggy walks very nicely on lead and is polite when meeting other dogs.

Raggy was not indoor toilet trained in his previous home and has been working on this since coming into foster care. He is currently wearing male diapers indoors and will need a family who is genuinely committed to continuing his toilet training with patience, consistency, and routine. His new family should expect this to be an ongoing part of helping him settle and should be comfortable supporting him through that process.

🛏️He can be crated for a few hours during the day while errands are being run, but he currently sleeps in bed overnight. This could be worked on further with patient, consistent training if his new family would prefer a different sleeping routine.
Raggy would prefer a home where someone is around more often than not, as he loves being near his people. He may also suit a home with children over 5, provided they are respectful of dogs and happy to give him gentle cuddles.

Despite being a flat-faced breed, Raggy does not breathe heavily or loudly, but enjoys a little snore while he is sleeping! He is very compact, sitting between 5-6kg.

👨‍👩‍👧 Raggy is a beautiful little soul with so much love to give. For the right family, he will be a deeply affectionate, loyal companion who brings warmth, comfort, and plenty of cuddles into everyday life.

Raggy’s estimated date of birth is 29/05/2024. His adoption fee is $800. He is desexed, microchipped, registered, vaccinated, and up to date with flea, tick and worm prevention.

📍He is currently in foster care in Cooks Hill, NSW 2300 and is available for adoption in NSW and ACT.
