Meet Haven!

True to her name, Haven is looking for a safe place where she can relax, feel secure, and learn that the world isn't such a scary place after all.

Haven is a sweet girl who can be a little shy when meeting new people. She prefers to take things slowly and will often retreat to her favourite comfy spot to watch the world go by from a safe distance. From there, she'll quietly observe everything around her, taking her time to decide if you're worthy of her trust.

Want to fast-track your friendship with Haven? Bring snacks! Food is definitely the way to her heart, and if you've got treats in hand, you'll quickly find yourself moving up her list of favourite people. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys gentle, slow pats and will happily soak up affection on her own terms.

Haven is looking for a patient family who can help build her confidence and show her that she doesn't need to be quite so worried. With encouragement, understanding, and plenty of tasty treats, we know this lovely girl will continue to come out of her shell and reveal the wonderful companion hiding underneath.
