About Marley
There are a lot of stories and myths about ginger cats — they are the owners of the house and pay the bills; often seem to sprawl in ridiculous positions and are very chatty. There are even Facebook pages for people to dob in their ginger cat to report laughable behaviour.
Marley could be like this, however he’s new to our Shelter and we are still learning about him. One thing is for certain - Marley doles out his affectionate in a very rugged way. This means his headbutts could knock your coffee out of your hand, and you won’t be able to multitask especially with your fine motor skills. Also, sometimes his loving will turn into a playful nip. Apart from his lovely nature, Marley is a handsome fellow with his short, thick fur and his view of the world with his half-closed eyes. Please read on for adoption and care advice:-
** A balanced diet of high-quality wet and dry food plus ample fresh, cool water.
** Indoor lifestyle only, enriched with snuggles, toys and games. He has never lived outside.
** Best suited to a quiet, calm household as he can be shy.
** Friends would be gentle adults and responsible, cat-savvy children.
** Marvin has resided with other furry pets, however any meetings with new pets would have to be slow and steady.
** Marley's own area in your home would be ideal.
** Regular visits to the vet would be beneficial.
