Hi, I'm Jazz!

I'm a sweet, 9 year old Border Collie, who is looking for that special home where I can enjoy my twilight years to their fullest.

While I may be on the older side, don't let that turn you away, I am youthful at heart. I am a clever girl, who knows how to sit and drop, and am never saying no to a little treat or two.

This said, I have been rationing my treats a little bit more throughout the afternoon these days, so I can enjoy the healthiest version of my adult life possibe.

During the days, I love going on short walks, and am happy to live with a younger or older family, maybe even with another dog.

So if you have a loving bigger family, with children or other dogs, remember to bring them on down if coming to the shelter to meet.

While I am happy to meet others, If you come on a little strong, I can feel a bit intimidated, which is never a nice feeling for anyone.

I would benefit the most from a warm home, one that is happy to take the time to enforce a positive and confidence building environment and where I can be gradually introduced to the chaos of love of every family member.
