About Doug
Meet Doug, a stunning and sweet Doberman X Mastiff who is on the lookout for a loving new family. This affectionate boy has lots of love to give and adores sitting beside you soaking up all the pats, back scratches, and cuddles that he can get. Though he had a challenging start, Doug's spirit is unbreakable, and he's ready to embark on a new chapter filled with warmth and care.
At 2 years old, Doug still has a bit of puppy energy in him, which means he might get a little jumpy when he's excited. With consistent guidance and training, Doug will continue to shine. He thrives in an environment where he feels part of the family and enjoys engaging in activities like playing ball and going on walks. Additionally, having a yard would be ideal for Doug to stretch his legs and explore to his heart's content.
Doug is eager to please and gets along well with calm and non-reactive dogs, though he does tend to get a bit enthusiastic when spotting other furry friends from a distance. With continued socialization and positive experiences, he'll become even more well-rounded. Doug is searching for a dedicated family who can offer him the love and time he needs.
For the ideal home, Doug would love a family of older, teenage children or just adults who can share in his playful spirit and help continue his journey of learning and growth. While Doug is not suited for homes with cats, his presence will undoubtedly bring joy and companionship where he belongs.
At around 30kg and armed with lots of hugs and kisses, Doug is ready to make unforgettable memories and share his boundless affection with a family who’s ready for an engaging and loyal companion.
