Malibu On The Move!
Malibu is a lively, people‑loving little dog who never misses a chance to say hello. She’s naturally social, affectionate, and quick to seek out interaction, greeting everyone with bright eyes and a happy, eager energy. Even in a busy environment, she carries herself with confidence and enthusiasm, always ready to be part of whatever is happening around her.
In the shelter, Malibu can be a vocal girl, especially when she’s excited or feeling a bit unsettled. She may bark in her pen or call out for attention, but once she’s out and moving, her stress eases and her cheerful personality takes over. She enjoys her walks and does reasonably well on the lead, and with a little basic training she’ll settle beautifully into a home routine.
This little dog is surprisingly athletic, Malibu can jump impressively high for her size, easily springing up past halfway on her pen door. When she’s in the outdoor run, she’ll also check along the fence line for weak spots. Because of this, she’ll need a home with secure, escape‑proof fencing to keep her safe. She’s very comfortable with handling, including being picked up, touched, and managed, and she loves toys and playtime.
Malibu has shown friendly, appropriate behaviour with other dogs. She’s been tested with both small and medium‑large males and handled each introduction with loose, confident body language and calm curiosity. She greets politely, stays relaxed, and is happy to interact before returning to her handler on her own. She’d do well living with another similar‑sized, friendly, confident dog who can match her upbeat nature and help her feel secure. Apply Now for the opportunity to meet her. ❤️
