Queenie

Queenie is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment. Queenie is an independent and easy-going girl who is looking for a home that will appreciate her gentle, low-maintenance nature. She may need a little time to settle into a new environment, but once she's comfortable, she's happy to coexist alongside her people without demanding constant attention.

She enjoys the company of other cats and would likely love having a feline friend in her new home. Queenie is also a big fan of scratching posts and can often be found entertaining herself with mouse toys and anything attached to a string.

While she's not a cat who enjoys lots of handling, she loves being near her people. Expect to find her sleeping on your bed at night or sitting beside you on the couch, quietly enjoying your company. Queenie is also very polite, keeping all four paws on the floor rather than jumping onto benches or counters.

If you're looking for a calm, companionable cat who is happy to do her own thing while still sharing her space with you, Queenie could be the perfect match.
