About Alaska
Introducing Alaska!
Alaska is a sweet, gentle girl who was surrendered to the shelter and is now in search of her forever home.
Alaska doesnt mind her humans, but also enjoys her own space from time to time, so she would be best suited to a quiet home with a backyard, with either adults only, or a family with secondary-aged children who can be respectful of her boundaries when she needs a break.
This friendly lady might love the company of having another doggo to live with in her new home. So if you already have a dog who'd like a playmate, please bring them to the shelter for a meet and greet!
Alaska has been working with our behaviour trainers to help gain some confidence in stressful situations. While she's come leaps and bounds from when she started, she will still need some ongoing support and training from her adopters to show her true personality and become the cool, confident dog we know she is!
If you think you can give Alaska the perfect life she's been looking for, come down and meet her today!
Please note that any children or dogs living at home will need to be present in your meet and greet with Alaska.
