Madeline is a stunning young teenage girl with a soft grey tabby coat and the most beautiful green eyes you’ve ever seen. While her looks may catch your attention, it’s her gentle, sensitive nature that will truly capture your heart.
The world feels like a big and scary place to Madeline right now. New people and unfamiliar environments can make her quite nervous, and she prefers to take things slowly at her own pace. But beneath that timid exterior is a sweet soul who just needs the right person to show her that she is safe, loved, and secure.
Madeline is looking for a calm and understanding home with someone patient enough to let her blossom in her own time. She will need a quiet environment without children or dogs, where she can build confidence without feeling overwhelmed. With gentle encouragement and consistency, she has so much potential to grow into a devoted and loving companion.
She may also benefit from the presence of a friendly, confident feline companion who can help guide her and show her that humans aren’t so scary after all.
Madeline isn’t the kind of cat who will rush into your arms—but for the person willing to give her the time and space she needs, the reward will be incredibly special. Watching her learn to trust and come out of her shell will be a truly heartwarming journey.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
