About Lucy
If you're searching for a loyal shadow rather than a social butterfly, Lucy might just be your perfect match.
Lucy dreams of a quiet country life where the days are peaceful, the routines are predictable, and her favourite people are never too far away.
A shy girl when meeting new people, Lucy prefers to take her time deciding who belongs in her circle. She's not interested in collecting human friends — once she's chosen her people, they're all she needs. The bond she forms is deep, loyal and incredibly special.
Dogs, however, are a different story entirely.
Lucy would happily befriend every dog she meets! She loves attending daycare where she can spend time with her canine mates, and she's particularly fond of showing off her impressive chasing skills whenever the opportunity arises.
Lucy is both crate trained and house trained. She does prefer a little emotional support when heading outside on her own, but she's happy to wait patiently until her trusted human is ready to accompany her.
Life hasn't always been kind to Lucy, and her difficult start has left her a little cautious. She isn't reactive or dramatic; she simply gets shy and needs time to feel safe. With patience, understanding and consistency, Lucy blossoms into a loving and devoted companion.
A home with another friendly dog is absolutely essential for Lucy's happiness. In fact, she'd be delighted with multiple canine friends to share her days with. They give her confidence, comfort and companionship in a way that only dogs can.
Lucy would thrive in a quiet rural or semi-rural home with calm people who appreciate life's slower moments. In return, you'll gain a faithful best friend who will quietly adore you with her whole heart.
For the right family, Lucy won't just be a dog — she'll be the most loyal companion you could ever ask for.
