Rusty is the kind of dog who quickly becomes your shadow. Affectionate, loyal, and full of love, he adores being close to his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to keep you company. If you're looking for a devoted best friend who wants to share every part of your day, Rusty could be the perfect match.

Rusty is settling beautifully into home life and would be equally comfortable in a house or apartment. He is fully toilet trained, confidently uses a doggy door, and has had no issues with household routines. On walks, he is an absolute pleasure, strolling calmly on lead and taking passing cars, bikes, people, and other dogs in his stride.

One of Rusty's greatest strengths is his social nature. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company, happily playing with dogs of different sizes. Rusty has only experienced being left at home with another dog present, so his future family should be prepared to help him settle into their routine and learn what being home alone looks like.

Like many food-loving hounds, Rusty gets very excited when meals are involved and can sometimes forget his manners around kitchen benches. Consistent guidance and clear boundaries are helping him learn that patience pays off, and he is responding well to gentle, firm direction.

When the day is done, Rusty is happiest curled up beside you on the lounge. He loves a cuddle, enjoys leaning into his people for affection, and has a wonderful way of making you feel loved. With his sweet nature and unwavering devotion, Rusty will reward his future family with endless companionship and plenty of heartwarming moments.
