About Poet
Hey there!
I'm Poet, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as the cutest calico girl around.
While I may start off a bit shy, give me some time, and you’ll discover that I truly adore receiving pats. I've got a gentle personality, but an explorer, too, with a sense of fun and adventure.
During the day, you'll often find me engaging in playful antics with my sister and my foster cat friends. I'm an avid fan of feather wands, pouncing, and creatively climbing all the tower spaces I can find.
After playtime, I love to snuggle into my comfy cat tower or onto a soft blanket and enjoy a cozy nap.
Treats are a big hit with me, and I’m known to sprint straight into the kitchen at the sound of snack bags being opened. I'm also quite the social butterfly when it comes to fellow felines and currently live harmoniously with respectful sausage dogs, adjusting beautifully to a multi-pet household.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will send you our Adoption Application Form 💛
Once we have received your completed application, we will contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens may be the right match for you, we will then arrange either a home visit or request a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we offer a 2-week trial period to ensure your new cat or kitten is the right fit for your family 🐾
Conditions apply. Heart & Soul Rescue reserves the right to decline a full refund if recommendations and care requirements regarding your adopted cat or kitten have not been followed during the 2 week trial period. A 25% administration fee applies if a cat or kitten is returned during that time.
Heart & Soul Rescue is a volunteer-run, non-profit charity. We receive no government funding and rely entirely on donations and fundraising to cover our vet and rescue costs.
