Meet our lovely Nervous Nelly.

Nervous Nelly came to us as a stray, and as we don't have a lot of history to go off we have had the pleasure of getting to know Nelly from scratch.

Nelly is a sweet and timid little soul who is very gentle and loving. Although she will be a little wary around new people and tends to hide at the back of her condo she is still open to human interaction and love.

Nelly's favourite thing is a bum scratch where she arches her back and kneads her paws, it is the best way to get her out of her shell and comfortable with interacting. She isn't opposed to a little head scratch either.

Nelly will need a quiet and calm home that she can take her time to adjust in. She will need a patient and kind human to guide her through her transition to her new space, and someone who is okay with taking it slow and fine with her needing space when needed. She would love some hiding spots where she can retreat when life gets a little overwhelming but most of all she just wants a kind person to look after her.

Nervous Nelly is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment.
