Meet Butch 🐾
Butch is the baby of our shelter and a friend to everyone he meets. With his happy, playful nature, he’s made plenty of canine friends and loves spending his days playing and socialising with them.
As a young boy, Butch is eager to learn and would make a wonderful addition to a family, especially one with another friendly dog to show him the ropes. He’s at the perfect age to continue his training and will thrive with someone who can guide him as he grows into an amazing adult dog.
Butch absolutely loves people, cuddles, affection, walks, and any adventure you can take him on. Whether it’s exploring new places, heading to the beach, going for a hike, or simply relaxing at home after a busy day, Butch is happiest when he’s by your side.
He’s looking for a family who will invest in his future, continue building his confidence, and give him all the love he deserves. In return, you’ll gain a loyal best friend who’s ready to make a lifetime of memories with you. ❤️

Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the Promising Paws Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal.
We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed (e.g. size of dog, diet, temperament, exercise requirements).
Supporting documents required:
Real estate approval or proof of home ownership such as a rates notice;
Photos of your fence and current pets, if applicable.
The dog will be up to date with all vaccinations and worming as at the time of adoption. Any future vaccinations and preventatives will be at the adopter's expense.*
