About Scarlette
๐พ๐ Meet Scarlett ๐๐พ
Professional couch potato. Expert cuddler. Retired breeding girl. Full-time sweetheart. โค๏ธ
At 4 years and 7 months old, Scarlett the French Bulldog is officially hanging up her breeding boots and beginning the chapter she's been waiting for all her life โ being someone's beloved family member.
After years spent raising puppies, Scarlett is now searching for something much more important:
A comfy couch.
A soft bed.
A family who adores her.
And preferably someone willing to tell her she's a good girl at least 47 times a day. ๐
Because if there is one thing Scarlett loves almost as much as lounging around, it's praise.
This beautiful girl absolutely blossoms when she's told how wonderful she is.
And honestly?
She is pretty wonderful.
Scarlett is everything people love about French Bulldogs.
She's affectionate.
She's funny.
She's gentle.
She's wonderfully quirky.
And she's completely convinced that human company is one of life's greatest gifts.
Her favourite place in the house is wherever her people happen to be.
Working from home?
You'll find Scarlett tucked up under the desk supervising.
Watching television?
She'll be curled up beside you.
Relaxing on the couch?
She has already reserved her spot.
In fact, Scarlett has spent years perfecting the art of relaxation and could quite possibly qualify as an Olympic-level couch potato. ๐ฅ๐
Now, don't mistake that for laziness.
Scarlett still enjoys pottering around the backyard, having little bursts of excitement, and occasionally zooming around when the mood strikes.
But overall, she's much more interested in quality cuddle time than marathon adventures.
Her ideal day consists of snacks, naps, cuddles, praise, more naps, checking in on her humans, and perhaps another nap just to be safe.
Scarlett is also wonderfully quiet.
She rarely barks and is happy simply pottering around her day.
The only exception?
If she would like assistance getting onto the bed, she may let out the sweetest little "awooo" to let you know she requires chauffeur service. ๐ฅน
When it comes to other dogs, Scarlett is an easy-going girl who enjoys having canine company. She happily snuggles up with the other foster dogs and enjoys their companionship, although she would also be perfectly content as an only dog soaking up all the attention for herself.
She is gentle with children and has shown herself to be a lovely, kind soul around people of all ages.
Cats?
Well, Scarlett thinks they're quite interesting.
She has been cat tested and while she does enjoy chasing the resident cat from time to time, it appears to be more about curiosity and fun than anything serious.
One of the things her foster family loves most about Scarlett is her beautiful temperament.
She simply wants to love and be loved.
There isn't a mean bone in her body.
She's the type of dog who melts into cuddles, follows her people around the house, and looks at you as though you've personally hung the moon.
Of course, being a French Bulldog, Scarlett also comes with a built-in soundtrack.
Her snores are impressive.
Truly impressive.
If competitive snoring was an Olympic sport, she'd be bringing home gold medals. ๐
She also requires occasional cleaning of her nasal folds, but otherwise she's a very low-maintenance little lady.
What Scarlett is really looking for now is her retirement home.
Not a place where she'll be expected to do anything.
A place where she'll be cherished.
A place where she can spend her days stretched across a couch, snoozing under a desk, collecting cuddles, and finally enjoying all the love and attention she deserves.
Because after everything she's done for others, it's Scarlett's turn.
Her turn to be spoiled.
Her turn to be someone's baby.
Her turn to be loved simply because she's Scarlett. โค๏ธ
๐ If you're searching for a sweet, gentle, funny little companion who believes cuddles are life's greatest achievement, Scarlett may just be the perfect addition to your family.
๐พ Couch potato.
โค๏ธ Professional cuddle enthusiast.
๐ฅน Retired mama.
๐ Ready for her happily ever after.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period โ this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
