Meet Shayla, a beautiful adolescent Staffy x who is ready to take her next big step: finding a home of her own.

Shayla has been working closely with our behaviour trainer to build her confidence and learn to better regulate her emotions. With plenty of support, alongside behavioural medication, she has come such a long way. Now, she's ready for a foster-to-adopt home where she can continue that progress while settling into life with her potential forever people.

Behind all that learning is a really lovely, affectionate girl who makes a wonderful companion once she feels comfortable with you. Shayla loves spending time with her people, but she also has a wonderfully silly side. Give her some toys and you'll quickly see it come out! She loves playing, being goofy and showing off the fun personality that has made her so loved by the people who know her.

Shayla is looking for a quiet suburban home with a secure, good-sized backyard, teenagers or adults only, and no other pets. The hustle and bustle of inner-city life would be a little too much for this girl.

Her foster-to-adopt carers will have plenty of support along the way, working closely with our behaviour trainer while everyone gets to know each other and makes sure Shayla is the right match for their home.

Shayla has already put in so much work, and now she needs someone willing to continue that journey with her. In return, you'll get a sweet, funny and loving companion who is very ready to show someone just how special she can be. 💛
