About Luna - 3 Year Old Boston Terrier X
Meet Luna 💕
Luna is a beautiful 3-year-old Boston Terrier cross French Bulldog.
Luna is a truly special little girl with a personality that will melt your heart. While Luna is deaf, she doesn’t let it define her in any way. She lives a completely normal, happy life and enjoys all the things other dogs do. She loves her walks, enjoys being included in family outings, and wants nothing more than to be part of her people’s everyday lives.
The beautiful thing about Luna is that she communicates through sign language, which she is learning so well. She already understands signs including “no” and “come”, and her family is currently practising “sit” with her. Luna is smart, eager to please, and shows just how capable and adaptable she is.
Being part Boston Terrier, Luna has such a lovely, balanced temperament. She is not your typical high-energy little dog. Luna is incredibly calm, laid-back, and easy-going. She has a beautiful, relaxed nature and is the kind of dog who is happy just being by your side. She enjoys life at a slower pace and is happiest soaking up attention, comfort, and companionship.
Luna is fully house-trained, incredibly well-mannered, and she does have a habit of licking. So she’ll need a family able to love her for all of her quirks. She’s often described as being “part cat” thanks to her love of perching on the back of lounges and sitting on windowsills watching the world go by. When she’s not supervising the neighbourhood, you’ll find her stretched out in a sunny spot enjoying her favourite pastime sunbaking.
Despite her playful side, Luna is a very calm and quiet companion. She isn’t a barker and is happiest curled up beside her family having a nap. In fact, sleeping is one of her favourite hobbies! She’s the perfect balance of enjoying a daily walk and then happily snoozing the afternoon away.
Luna absolutely adores children and is incredibly affectionate with them. She thrives on human companionship and is looking for a home where someone is around for the majority of the day. She forms strong bonds with her people and loves being involved in family life.
Luna gets along beautifully with other dogs and would happily live with a canine friend. She is equally content being the only dog in the home, provided she has plenty of love and company from her humans.
Luna’s deafness requires a family willing to be mindful of her needs, but it certainly doesn’t limit her. She is a happy, confident, loving little dog who simply experiences the world a little differently.
