Hi, I'm Chorizo! I am a boy with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and absolutely zero interest in being anywhere other than right beside my favourite human. If you're in the room, I want to be near you. If you're on the couch, I want to be on you. Life is simply better together, and I plan to make sure you never forget it.

Now, I should mention, I recently lost one of my legs due to an injury. But before you worry, please know that I am absolutely thriving. I bounced back with the kind of resilience that would honestly put most humans to shame. I still climb my cat tree, play with boundless enthusiasm, and zoom around like the unstoppable little force of nature that I am. Three legs, zero limits.

My absolute favourite thing in the entire world, though? Snuggling with my foster mum. Nothing beats it. I also use my litter box perfectly every single time, a very impressive achievement for a boy with so much else going on.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would do best with older children who are gentle and respectful, and who would appreciate my sweet, chatty nature.

I am deeply focused on my humans, so I would be happy as an only cat. That said, I do love to play, so a confident, playful cat companion who matches my energy would also be a wonderful addition to my world.

I am easy going and warm hearted, and with gentle introductions, I would likely adapt well to a calm, cat-savvy dog too.

My PURR-fect home would be a loving home where I am the centre of my human's world because they will absolutely be the centre of mine. I would love a family who is home often and happy to have a snuggly, velcro kitten by their side. A playful cat friend would be a lovely bonus, but truly, as long as I have my people, I have everything I need. I promise to fill your home with purrs, conversation, and more heart than you ever thought possible from one small ginger and white boy.

Medical Notes: Chorizo sustained an injury prior to coming into our care that resulted in amputation of his right hind leg. Due to this condition, he will need to be a strictly indoor only cat although may have access to a fully enclosed cat-run.
