About Leo
Meet Leo, a stunning pedigreed German Spitz with a heart as fluffy as his beautiful coat.
This loving and loyal companion is seeking a special family to welcome him into their home. Leo thrives when surrounded by his human companions, who he loves dearly, making him an ideal partner for those who spend a lot of time at home or can include him in their daily outings.
His affectionate nature means he loves being carried like a baby and wouldn't mind some extra snuggles anytime!
Despite all his love to give, Leo has recently had to cope with a big transition, and certain noises can make him anxious, particularly the sound of a crying baby. Fortunately, his anxiety is understandable and manageable with half a tablet of Zactin and a Gabapentin capsule morning and night. Leo truly shines in a quieter environment and would do best in a household where he can enjoy lots of walks that help ease his anxiety and keep his youthful energy levels in check.
Leo's preference for female dogs shines through; he keeps excellent company with them but not getting along well with strong minded male dogs.
He maintains a lovely fluffy coat that does require regular grooming, with professional care every 4-5 weeks.
As for his eating habits, Leo has a hearty appetite. He's on Royal Canin kibbles for breakfast, munches on chicken necks for lunch, and indulges in a healthy meaty meal for dinner, with chicken jerky being a favorite treat.
In a nutshell, Leo is an intelligent, obedient pooch with a joyful spirit. His ideal family would have older children and be ready to embrace him as a family member, loving him for the charming, personable dog he is.
