About George
Meet George, a 2.5 year old border collie girl with a calm and loyal personality who just wants to be right by your side.
Nothing makes George happier than hanging out with her humans and doggy friends – whether you’re adventuring, gardening, working or chilling, George is in! This girl has so much love to give.
George is crate trained and happily sleeps in her crate over night. She has all the basics (and more) down pat and walks nicely on lead. George has good recall but can be led astray if there are rabbits or wallabies about. George has a fabulous off switch and loves a snooze once all the fun is over.
George is looking for an experienced, adult, home with an active human/s who will give her plenty of mental and physical stimulation. A walk around the block isn’t enough for this sweet lady. She’s looking for a family who will allow her inside and include her in their daily lives.
George can be a little shy at first when meeting new dogs but warms up after appropriate introductions. George loves to play and zoom with her foster siblings and has been very respectful of her older foster brother during her time in care. She has been tested with cats and enclosed chickens. With some training and boundaries, she can live with both harmoniously.
George would love a home with another active, playful dog and some room to stretch her legs between adventures. She is truly a delight girl who just wants to please.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
